Élodie Kornheiser studied under the supervision of the sculptor Petrus.
In 1999, she was contracted by the Cilaos municipaly, on Île-de-la-Réunion, for the realization of a monument.
Today, she shares her time between Île de la Réunion, Brazil, Spain and Paris. In spite of her young age, she is in the fullness of her art. In fact, it is rare to meet a young artist who radiates such a need for spirituality, a great joy of life and an intense desire to create.


Sculptor in stone and clay, she proposes to you :

- methods and steps for the creation of a sculpture
- the duplication of a chosen model through the means of marks
- simple methods to reproduce the human body proportions
- to create from a live model and understand its contours

Come to participate in a training session on sculpture in stone in an idyllic environment.

You will combine learning direct stone carving with relaxing on the shores of Bahia, in the picturesque village of Arraial d’Ajuda (see: www.arraial-d-ajuda.com ).

The magnificent Brazil steatite stone, also called soapstone, will serve as base material. Red, white and many variations of green stones will be at your disposal (see: ).

Both locations offer breakfast. Other meals are on your own. The town, located only at a five minute walking distance, offers many possibilities for lunch and diner.

Not included in the stay:
